Wade Weber is the founding Director of Education at Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West. Wade leads the K-12 school program, volunteer/docent program, teaches docent training classes, leads the Boy Scouts of America - merit badge day programs, homeschool programs, development of education curriculum, gives historic and artistic tours of museum exhibitions, and helps write grants for the museum. 

 

            Wade received his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Art Education K-12 and has studied visual arts in many aspects in the art world.  He has worked in conservation and restoration of fine art, run two studios as a studio manager, and worked as a production artist.  He has been a professional artist for thirty years and has a dynamic work of art at Scottsdale’s Museum of the West that moves optically as you walk by the engaging illusion painting. His artwork is also in private collections across the United States. 

 

            Wade has three grown children, and he loves creating fine art and playing a round of golf. Wade participates in a 220-mile bike ride that goes from downtown Phoenix all the way to Puerto Penasco, Mexico in two days, part of 1mission.org - Bikes fight Poverty.
