Stephanos Antoniades is a freelance photographer in Flagstaff, Arizona, specializing in travel, culture, and nature photography. Originally from the Mediterranean island country of Cyprus, he has lived in Arizona for over 30 years, having first arrived in the state to study at The University of Arizona, in Tucson. Stephanos caught the photography bug while in junior high school in Cyprus and started getting serious about photography in high school after buying his first SLR camera. He also started traveling extensively early on in life and has traveled to over 60 countries on all continents. Joining TEOE in 2023, allowed him to bring his love of photography and travel together as an associate photographer for the organization.
Stephanos was a photo guide for Arizona Highways Photo Workshops for 17 years, served on the board of directors of the organization for 13 of those years, and was privileged to have some of his images grace the pages of Arizona Highways Magazine over that time. His photographs have been displayed in galleries and other venues in the Phoenix area, as well as accepted in various juried exhibitions.
His first exchange as a member of TEOE is to Himeji, Japan, in 2026. He has also organized a TEOE exchange with Cyprus in 2026-27.
