Arizona Matsuri Festival 2026

The 2026 Arizona Matsuri Festival was held at Indian Steele Park, February 21-22. TEOE had an exhibit at the festival, with several images from our numerous past exchanges with Himeji, Japan, displayed. This year, the cities of Phoenix and Himeji are celebrating 50 years of sisterhood!

Our board president and associate photographer, Bob Rink, was interviewed for channel CW7's AZ Daily Mix TV segment about the Matsuri Festival and TEOE.

Channels FOX10 and NBC12 where on site during the festival and interviewed our board member Errol Zimmerman about the exhibit and TEOE. Errol was one of the 2 photographers that participated in the first photo exchange with Himeji back in 1988.
