Kerrick James took his BFA in Photography from Arizona State Univ. in 1982. He has photographed the lands and cities of the American West and Mexico for over twenty years, with increasing emphasis on Alaska, Hawaii and Baja California. His work has appeared on more than fifty covers and feature stories in travel and inflight magazines including Arizona Highways, Alaska, America West, Voyageur, Hemispheres, Endless Vacation, Sky, Sunset, and USAir. In addition to providing covers for two recent books by National Geographic he has also shot guidebooks for Compass American Guides and Insight Guides. kerrick is a member of ASMP (American Society of Media Professionals) and SATW (Society of American Travel Writers) and lives in Mesa, Arizona with his wife Theresa and sons Shane and Royce.
