Children First Academy

TEOE members volunteer their time twice a year to photograph appreciative students at the Children First Academy (formerly the Pappas Schools) in Tempe and Phoenix. Each child had an individual portrait taken and each class had a group shot taken. Cutting Edge Style Academy stylists are also on hand to provide each student with a comb or brush and to style each student’s hair. 

It is always such a rewarding experience for everyone involved. The teachers tell us that “picture day” is the favorite day of the year for the students and teachers.  The students’ excitement and the hugs are extremely gratifying. Many of these students have never seen a picture of themselves before and many adults who attended the Children First Academy in the past have no record of what they looked like as a child. 

Each student will receive a packet of pictures (8x10, 5x7’s, 4x6’s and wallets) and each class with receive an 8x10, all free of charge. McKenna Pro generously provides all of the prints.
