Maurice Sartirana

Maurice Sartirana was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and spent his grade school years in New Jersey. Later, he earned a degree as a Technician in Aeronautic Telecommunications at the National Institute of Civil Aviation in Argentina. Maurice developed an instant passion for photography when he received his first camera as a gift. He returned to the US in 1986 and pursued a fine art photography in college as well as a degree in graphic design. Maurice has called Arizona his home for the last 17 years. In 1997 he started Alternative Werx Studio, which keeps him busy photographing a wide variety of assignments ranging from portraits to commercial work and corporate events. When he is not working, you will find him hiking around Arizona still attached to a camera, capturing the striking southwestern landscapes around him.
