Student picture day

Several TEOE associates and volunteers donated their time recently to photograph grade schoolers as part of a student picture day program for underprivileged kids recently. The program is run by TEOE member Karen Shell. It was a lot of fun and it felt very good to give back to so many children that have little to go home to at the end of the school day. Spending time with them, trying to make them laugh and forget about their difficult little lives for just a moment was incredible. Underneath her hands is a smiling little girl who just wants to be a kid.

A grade schooler covers her face before having her picture “officially” taken for her student portrait. marklipczynski.com
